Project Worker
37.5 hours per week
£15,531 pa
Ark House, Stroud

The purpose of this role is to provide housing related support to homeless people living at Ark House. Ark House is manned 24 hours a day and the shift pattern for this role includes morning, afternoon and evening shifts, and will include working every other weekend. You’ll work with individuals on a one to one basis to draw up individual support plans, this could include:

• Guidance surrounding benefits claims
• Advising on managing finances
• Helping to report repairs
• Assisting in booking appointments
• Enabling independent living.

We don’t offer any personal care, however you’ll assist our customers in arranging this via agencies that can offer this service.

Previous experience in a Support Worker role is not required; we’re more interested in your positive attitude, integrity, initiative and your approach to delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
