City West
Welcome to City West.
City West is a brand new housing association, set up to take
over the ownership and management of over 14,800 homes across West
Salford from the council. As a not-for-profit registered charity,
all of its income goes back into the communities that it serves -
being used to improve homes and services for tenants, and to
develop neighbourhoods.
With over 400 staff, the organisation is run by a management
board. The board is made up of tenants, independent members and
local councillors. And, as a registered social landlord, City West
is regulated by the Tenant Services Authority.
Although a new housing association, it is a busy and exciting
time at City West. A funding agreement is in place that will
deliver £200 million in the next five years, and over £900 million
over the next 30 years. All of which presents great career
opportunities for all types of people.
