Helena Partnerships becomes a Mindful Employer

Following a programme of mental health awareness development sessions with staff across the organisation Helena Partnerships signed the Charter for Employers who are positive about Mental Health. The company has many positive practices in place to support staff who experience mental health issues during their employment and recognise that such illnesses can and do affect us all at some time in our lives.

  • Occupational health service
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Wellbeing policy and facilities
  • Wellbeing activities including football, badminton, netball and t’ai chi

A mentally healthy workplace is one which is seen as a happy friendly place to work, values individual and team creativity and new ideas, has high productivity level and is efficient, and is open to discussions about mental health issues. It is the aim of Helena Partnerships to support colleagues and job applicants who have or are experiencing harmful levels of stress, depression, anxiety and other mental health problems.
